Unlike some DJs who only cover the evening disco, I offer full day packages that take care of everything. Ceremony music, drinks reception background tracks, dining music, speeches, first dance, and a full evening disco — one supplier coordinating your entire day, with no handover stress and no wondering who’s turning up next.

Will you be my DJ on the night?
Yes — always. When you book Alastair Reay Events, you get me. I don’t subcontract, I don’t send a substitute. I handle everything personally from our first conversation right through to the last song of your night.
Do you cover the whole of Sunderland and surrounding areas?
Yes. I cover Sunderland, Washington, Houghton-le-Spring, Chester-le-Street, Seaham, Peterlee, Easington, Durham City, and all surrounding areas.
Do you offer more than just a disco?
Yes. I’m a DJ and host — I handle MC duties, announcements, and the flow of the evening as well as the music. I also offer special effects including Dancing on Clouds dry ice and Cold Spark machines, which can be added to any package.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible. I keep my diary to a manageable number of weddings each year so every couple gets the attention they deserve. Saturday dates go quickly — if you have a date in mind, get in touch sooner rather than later.
Are you insured and PAT tested?
Fully. I carry £10m Public Liability Insurance and all equipment is PAT certified. I’ve been doing this for 30 years and have never missed a booking.
